Elsbeth, Teamcaptain – Working for CASA since 2014.
How did you end up at Casa?
I started my graduation year in Amsterdam in January 2010, and at that point I decided to live at Casa. During that year I’ve got to know lots of people who worked at Casa.. and still are. After a few years of residency and working at a Caribbean island, I returned to Amsterdam and got in contact with Casa again. At that time, the new restaurant East57 was being rebuild and rebranded, and I could go/started to work for the opening team of East57.
How do you experience Casa?
Casa feels like a second home to me. With so many young ambitious colleagues it definitely feels like a warm nest. The atmosphere is super nice/warm and casual, both with colleagues, as well as with guests.
What’s your best memory of Casa so far?
My best memory is the opportunity I had to be part of the opening team of East57. The opening was a moment we’ve all been waiting for and worked hard for.
What’s the silliest you’ve ever experienced within your job?
Well, sometimes I think it can’t get any crazier. It has been whispered into my ear that I should be short in my answers and shouldn’t expose too much. So whenever I’ll start with this one, I wouldn’t keep my word. The most awkward situations won’t be penned here, though I would love to tell you all about it when you’re at Casa ;).
