Thursdays we think are special. Because on Thursday evening your weekend starts with us. And we are not quite fuzzy about that. That’s why we spotlight one cocktail every Thursday evening for only €5!

On Thursday 9 March it’s up to the Espresso Martini. You can just walk in to have a cocktail, without making a reservation.

About the Espresso Martini: 

The Espresso Martini was created by Dick Bradsell in the 1980s. A bartending guru from the well known Fred’s Club in London. Story goes that a supermodel at the time needed a pick-me-up. ‘Something that keeps me awake and messes me up’. The Espresso Martini was born: a kick from both an espresso as from the vodka.

But wait, where is the Martini? There’s none! An Espresso Martini consists out of 3 equal parts of vodka, espresso and coffee liquor (we use Kahlua). The cocktail is called ‘Martini’ because it is served in a V-shaped glass, also called a Martini glass. So. That’s that.
