Thursdays we think are special. Because on Thursday evening your weekend starts with us. And we are not quite fuzzy about that. That’s why we spotlight one cocktail every Thursday evening for only €5!

On Thursday October 13 it’s up to the Pornstar Martini.

About the Pornstar Martini: 

A youngster among cocktails. The title ‘Pornstar Martini’ only dates back to 2018, but the concept and composition finds its origen back in 1999. Douglas Ankrah, professional bartender at The Lab Bar, came up with it while taking a walk on a summer morning. His idea was to combine the 3 most popular flavours of the moment: vodka, prosecco and passion fruit. After a few experiments, the Maverick Martini was born.

The cocktail became an instant hit! But the name didn’t quite seem to fit. Douglas gave it the title we know so well today: the Pornstar Martini. Because he felt it was a drink a porn star would drink. A legend was born (years later) after all!
