1. Museum Night: November 1
When the sun sets, the museums come alive. On Museum Night, over 70 museums and cultural locations open their doors after dark, allowing visitors to see their expositions at night. Next to this, many museums also offer an evening programme. Think music performances, workshops, quizzes or guided tours. It’s the perfect night out to explore the city’s creative sights.
2. Jordaan Festival: September 29-October 1
Jordaan, one of Amsterdam’s most charming neighbourhoods, will host Jordaan Festival on September 29 & 30 and the 1st of October. The festival is all about music, community and most importantly ‘gezelligheid’, a dutch expression meaning sociable and cosy. Expect singalongs and a whole lot of Dutch cheer.
3. Pure Markt – Various dates
