Breathing & Ice Bath Workshop on our rooftop GAPP

Discover the transformative power of cold exposure at the upcoming Ice Bath Event on our picturesque rooftop GAPP. Under the expert guidance of Movement Amsterdam, you will experience breathwork, cold exposure, and commitment. What to expect

The program starts with an informative introduction inside Hotel Casa, with a focus on breath work session. You will learn all about the autonomic nervous system and how to influence it with breathing techniques. We will cover various breathing techniques and perform various tests to gain insight into your breathing patterns. As the ultimate challenge, you will step into an ice bath on rooftop GAPP to put your newly acquired skills into practice. After the workshop, a lunch will be provided to enjoy with your fellow participants, giving you a chance to wind down and to connect with each other. 

Preparation

For those new to cold exposure, we recommend gradually incorporating cold showers in the days leading up to the event. This will help you become acclimated and embrace the sensation. Participants should possess a basic level of health, while pregnant individuals and those with epilepsy are advised not to partake. If you have any pre-existing heart or vascular conditions or other significant health concerns, it is crucial to consult a medical professional prior to embarking on this workshop.
