Let’s start with a fun dilemma: Would you rather host multiple small groups throughout the day or focus on one large group for the entire day?
Moïse: “That’s a tricky one! I love the energy and variety of working with multiple small groups. Each group brings its own unique requests and challenges, keeping things exciting. But there’s something so satisfying about hosting one large group all day. It gives you the chance to really connect with the guests and ensure every last detail is just perfect. In the end, whether it’s big or small, my goal is always the same: to make sure every group has an unforgettable experience.”
What’s the most fun event you’ve ever organised in CASA?
Moïse: “That must be Amsterdam Career Days! They’re every year in Hotel Casa for 5 days. The event concerns a full buy-out of the first floor and that makes it so interesting to see how we can make use of the event spaces in different ways. During this event ACD connects more than 1000 students with around 80 different companies. As CASA is a provider of affordable student housing, we support the Bright Young Minds of Tomorrow, and this event aligns perfectly with that vision.

What do you find important in society that CASA has been involved in?
Moïse: “What I admire about Hotel Casa is the social involvement and strong focus on sustainability. It’s more than just a place to stay; we are committed to the community, whether that’s supporting students with affordable housing or organising events that have a positive impact on the neighbourhood. Additionally, CASA encourages us to volunteer, which is a great way to give back to society. Whether it’s helping with a local initiative for a day or supporting a charity, it feels good to actively contribute.”

How does CASA feel when you walk into the lobby through the revolving doors?
Moïse: “Every time I walk through CASA’s revolving doors, it feels like coming home. There’s always a warm, energetic atmosphere. It’s the perfect blend of professionalism and cosiness. You can tell it’s a place where people come not only to work or meet but also to relax and enjoy the environment. It feels personal and lively, and that’s what makes CASA so special. Plus, I have an incredibly fun team, so I look forward to it every day!.”
What’s your favourite spot in the hotel?
Moïse: “Without a doubt, our incredible rooftop terrace, GAPP! There’s nothing quite like wrapping up the workday with a cold Gabbe beer in hand—though sunny weather is a must. The vibe is always so relaxed and cheerful, making it the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. I especially love how it brings people together, from hotel guests to locals. It’s such a lively, welcoming space! While the rooftop is closed during the winter months, I’m already counting down the days until it reopens in April!

Moïse: “As a Meeting & Events Sales Manager, I ensure that every event perfectly matches the wishes of our guests. Whether it’s an intimate meeting or a large conference, I want guests to feel heard and special. We don’t just provide a physical space, but also an atmosphere and service that exceeds their expectations. The goal is for everyone to leave with a smile, remembering a flawlessly organised day that had just that extra bit of magic.”
