Arrival & Departure
Your room is ready after 15.00 hours. Should you be at Hotel Casa earlier, we do check the possibility of checking you in earlier, depending on the availability of your room. You can of course leave your luggage with us until check-in time.
You can check in up to 24.00 hours. Please let us know if you're planning to arrive later than 24.00 hours.
Of course! We have a closed-off luggage room. We are happy to keep an eye on it for you. Please note that leaving luggage is at your own risk. We don't accept any responsibility for theft or damage.
No, it's not required. But it speeds up the check-in process at lot, so we do recommend it. You can also do this after arriving at the hotel.
The standard check-out time is 12.00 hours. If you want to stay longer, please see the question below.
You can stay longer in your room if you want. For €10 per hour, you can check out later up until 16.00 hours. To make use of this option, please ring reception to request it on the morning of your check-out at the latest. Late check-out depends on availability.

Yes! You can park in our underground parking garage, or in parking spaces in streets around the hotel. Our parking garage rates are €3.50 per hour with a maximum of €25 per 24 hours. Parking space is subject to availability: unfortunately, we can't reserve it for you. Fortunately, there are usually spaces free! Yes, you can buy various tickets for the metro, tram and bus at reception.
Hotel Casa is located in Amsterdam-Oost, not far from the city centre. The centre begins about 1.5 km from our hotel. That's less than 10 minutes away by bike or public transport.
Eating & Drinking
You can use the breakfast from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 10:00 hours, and in the weekend between 07:00 and 11:00 hours.

In the hotel
Yes, bike hire costs €15 per day, subject to availability. Unfortunately, we can't accept bike bookings in advance. Pop down to reception and ask while you're staying here.
No. We love pets, but they are not allowed at Hotel Casa.
No, everyone is welcome! Are you younger than 18 years? Then we need permission from your parents or guardians via e-mail and a copy of their passport so that they can make the reservation.
No, smoking is not allowed in the hotel. All rooms are equipped with a smoke detector. Violations of the smoking policy are fined. Fortunately, there are various outdoor areas around the hotel where you can smoke.

Hotel Casa doesn't have its own gym, but we have an arrangement with a sport school (TrainMore) 1 km away. Day passes for TrainMore can be bought at the hotel reception.
Yes, the dry-cleaning service is available from Monday to Saturday. Click here for the prices per garment.

If you've booked directly via Hotel Casa, you can cancel up to 24 hours after making the booking. Do you want to cancel after 24 hours? Check which rate type you've booked. Rate type "NONREF" can't be cancelled after 24 hours without charge. Rate type "BAR" can be cancelled or changed up to 24 hours before the official check-in time (15:00 hours). You can do this via the link in your confirmation e-mail, or by contacting us via email@example.com. If you haven't booked directly via Hotel Casa, check the cancellation conditions of the organisation where you made the booking.
We have two different types of reservations:
Flexible rate: this means you can cancel or change your reservation up to 24 hours before your official check-in time.
Non-flexible rate: this reservation can only be made with a credit card. This way, the total amount is deducted from your credit card at the moment of reservation. After making the reservation, it's no longer possible to cancel or change it.
No, the maximum number is 3 persons (for a triple room) You can book two separate rooms for 4-person reservations. If available, we can reserve two adjoining rooms with a dividing door to connect them. Contact our reservations department firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange this option.
Yes, cots are available. They are for children up to about 3 years. Need a cot? Notify us when you make the reservation.
Everyone who stays in a hotel in Amsterdam and who doesn't live in Amsterdam pays tourist tax to the municipality. For 2020, the tourist tax is 7% of the room price + €3 per person per night. Young people under 16 years are not taxed. The tourist tax is included when you pay the total room price.
Did you make a reservation directly via Hotal Casa? Then you get an invoice when you check out of the hotel. You didn't receive an invoice? Then e-mail to email@example.com with your reservation details. They will be happy to help! Did you make a reservation via another organisation? Then request your invoice from them.
Yes, with each booking we request your credit card information as guarantee for the booking. The credit card is usually charged one day before the reservation, unless you already paid while making it.
We accept all worldwide-valid credit cards. You can also pay with a debit card and cash card in the hotel. We don't accept cash for security reasons.
In the room
Unfortunately, due to fire safety regulations, we do not place extra beds in our rooms. Book one of our triple rooms should you want to stay with 3 people in a room.
Our room don't have air-conditioning We do have an automatic climate system that is adjustable to about 2 degrees C. Electric fans are available from reception in cases of extreme heat.
Each room has a hair-dryer, wardrobe, TV, desk, safe and a mini-bar that you can fill yourself. Naturally, we supply fine bedlinen, towels and toiletry articles for use during your stay.
Every floor has a fixed ironing station that is accessible from the corridor. It's to be found behind the photo-wall opposite the lifts (near the rooms with numbers ending in '21). Please feel free, we want you to look wonderful!
