On Thursday October 29th it’s up to the Pisco Sour. You can just walk in to have a cocktail, without making a reservation.
About the Pisco Sour:
A Pisco Sour is a classic Peruvian cocktail. It’s made with Pisco, a type of brandy, mixed with lime juice, simple syrup, and egg white. The result is a refreshing and slightly frothy drink with a citrusy kick.
How it’s made:
Here’s your quick recipe:
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Pisco, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, 3/4 oz of simple syrup, and 1 egg white.
- Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- Add ice to the shaker.
- Shake again until well chilled, about 15-20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled glass.
- Garnish with a few drops of Angostura bitters on top.
- Serve and enjoy your refreshing Pisco Sour!
