Since 1957, Hotel Casa has combined hospitality with social impact. As a foundation, it provides affordable housing for 360 students from October to May, creating a unique environment where student life and hotel hospitality come together.

With every booking, guests support Hotel Casa's mission of making student housing more accessible in a city where affordable rooms are in short supply.

CASA’s mission has remained the same since it was founded: providing an affordable home where students can live, learn, grow,and create lasting friendships while discovering the city of Amsterdam.

But making a difference goes beyond the workplace. CASA empowers her team to create a positive impact in their communities by offering two paid volunteer days each year. Use these days to support a cause you care about and give back in a way that matters to you.

1. Shared success (bonus)

At CASA, success is something that is celebrated together. When CASA performs well financially, you share in that success through a bonus.
At the beginning of the year, and provided you’re part of the team at the time of payout, you’ll receive a bonus based on CASA’s results from the previous year. The amount is linked to your annual salary and is determined by CASA’s Board, with a maximum of 10%.

5. Personal development

Personal development is a priority at CASA. Set learning goals with your manager and explore (external) training opportunities and courses that match your ambitions and your function.
6. Work Life balance

CASA believes in balance.
When you occasionally work more hours than your contract, you build up time-for-time – moments you can take back for yourself later as paid time off.
Need extra vacation days? CASA gives you the opportunity to buy 5 extra vacation days per year, on top of the 25 you get with a full time contract.

As part of your onboarding, you'll attend an introduction day during your first months at CASA. This is your opportunity to get to know Hotel Casa, connect with your colleagues, and explore the local neighbourhood.

CASA believes in learning from one another. Through CASA's cross-training programme at the start of your career, you’ll step into different departments to see and experience how everything comes together.

Spend time alongside your colleagues, join a Manager on Duty, or even take a look behind the scenes in the kitchen. It’s the perfect way to connect, learn, and feel at home across all corners of CASA.

After successfully completing your probation period, you and a plus one can enjoy a full CASA stay including dinner, overnight, and breakfast. Because the best way to create great guest experiences is to live them first.
