Thank you for choosing Hotel Casa Amsterdam!
Despite that it seems otherwise, COVID-19 is unfortunately still present. Here we inform you about the measures we are taking within the hotel to minimise the spread of the virus. We are closely following the advice from the government and National Health Organization.
Current situation in the Netherlands
The management team of Hotel Casa keeps an eye on any new developments and we follow the advice of GGD (Municipal Health Services) and RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) in the Netherlands.
The basic rules are:
- Cough and sneeze in your elbow
- Wash hands frequently.
- In case of any covid symptoms, have yourself tested and stay home in case of a positive test result.
General operational measures
Apart from Hotel Casa following all recommendations of the above stated institutions, specific operational measures have been taken as follows:
- Staff reporting corona symptoms are not invited to work until absence of risk has been confirmed by a negative PCR test.
On a positive note…
During a crisis, we often become resourceful, and we see opportunities that we otherwise miss. That’s why we would like to share some positive takeaways that these quite unusual times have given us.
Not traveling abroad made us creative and appreciate our hometown and the surroundings. Staying close to home is trending! That’s why we love to offer a good package deal.
How great would it be to get some work done without being disturbed by your kids, your flat mates or a renovation at the neighbours? That’s why we still offer flex working spaces for all you workaholics without a quiet place to work.
In the 65 years of our existence, it has only happened twice before… Students living in Casa during the summer! Normally our summer period is the time where we generate revenue with the sole purpose of keeping (room rental) costs low for students living at Casa throughout the academic year. However, 2020 and 2021 were different and special, and we didn’t have to miss our beloved students over summer!
